Before being a brand, Basmastour is a person…

It is a believer concerned about the attire established for Muslim women.

 

Everything starts in 2020:

A year filled with choices and concessions.

I abandoned my studies and my former profession to preserve my veil and my religion.

It is a year when Allah instilled in my heart the love of sharعi clothing. Many feelings crossed my mind: serenity, joy, some moments of reflection on my future, but trust in my Lord never left me.

I had nothing left, but having given up everything for Him, knowing that He would never let me down, eased my heart.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

Whoever leaves something for Allah, Allah will replace it with something better.

Basmastour was born for two reasons:

• to establish my livelihood by the Grace of Allah
• to be a cause in the propagation of this obligation

To be honest, this second reason was my first intention.

The desire for other sisters to experience the feeling (and everything that comes with it) of dressing according to religious precepts had become essential to me.

The adventure therefore begins in December 2020.

1 year later…

In January 2022, I made my hijra. This was by the Grace of Allah and then by your cause.

I am flying to Egypt, the country that gives me the opportunity to create my own garments, in order to offer unique pieces and sizes to meet everyone's needs.

Basmastour continues to evolve. To this day, you will exclusively find ethical creations designed and drawn by me, then made in our sewing workshops here in Egypt.
